...:::Important Information:::... ---- For a period of three months from the 1st June 2017 - 31st August we will be accepting registry transfers from NZMHA for horses eligible for our registry with receipt of a copy of their NZMHA papers for a fee of $5 members / $10 non members. ---- DNA of horses for our registry is to be optional, however an additional indication of their status as DNA Qualified will be noted on their registration papers and the registry records.

| 28/2/2014 | American Shetlands excel at NZMHA National Show held 28th February 2014. Alliance Boleros Nova owned by Bill and Robyn Bell went Runner Up Supreme Cat A and SMHCs Fabulous Splendour took out Supreme Cat B. Summerlea Rockin Ya Soxz Off was Cat B Champion Weanling Colt 31" to 33" and went on to claim Runner Up Supreme. Shangrila RM Black Sinner was Champion Cat B Yearling colt 31"-34" with Hollywood Master of Illusion 2nd by 1 point. Both featured in the Top 5 Grand Champion Youngstock Colt out of 17 horses.

| 8/2/2014 | Alliance Boleros Nova owned by Bill and Robyn Bell and shown by Lani Horrocks won Supreme Category A. Margaret Miller's American Shetland filly, SMHCs Fabulous Splendour who was also shown by Lani Horrocks was Supreme Cat B and Reserve Champion went to a partbred Shetland colt by Rockin Robin, Summerlea Rockin Ya Soxz Off owned and shown by Summerlea Miniature Horse stud. These results were unanimous under all three judges.

| 15/11/2013 | Results from the Shetland Classes held in conjunction with the NZAMHC Association on 15th November 2013. The Purebred Champion was RHA Madness Kissed owned by Susan Baker. This filly was imported from the USA by Susan in 2013 and has had a successful show season winning numerous Supreme ribbons. The Partbred Champion was Hollywood Master of Illusion. This yearling colt was bred by Hollywood Miniature Horses. Reserve Champion Partbred was Bluegables Raves Crème Brulee also bred and shown by Bluegables Farm. Pictured: RHA Madness Kissed |

Partbred Shetlands take out top places in National competition. BayView Stirl n Silva (29.5% Shetland) wins 2013 NZMHA Category A National Supreme BayView Customized Striker (36.5% Shetland) wins 2012 NZAMHA Supreme Champion Both these horses are by Los Arboles Customized Colors (59% Shetland) who is a son of the well known Pecan Groves Chargers Customized (100% Shetland) Congratulations to Bill and Robyn Bell on this wonderful result. |
